Mrs. Allyson Miller

Allyson Miller is a seasoned educational leader, and brings to The Education Collective 15 years of experience in both classroom, coaching, and administrative roles. Ally holds degrees in K-12 Education and School Administration, along with Building Leader Licensure, and spent several years working in educational settings internationally in countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. She has experience leading district-wide professional development, and strategic planning teams. Currently, Ally is pursuing her Superintendent Licensure & Doctorate in Education. Ally is passionate about innovation, inclusion, and the future of education, with a proven expertise in seamlessly integrating updated technology to create enhanced, equitable and dynamic learning environments. Her big-picture thinking drives impactful change with a focus on student success.


Ms. Brittany Almonte

Co-Founder, Director of High School/Young Adult Support Services

Brittany Almonte is a dedicated counselor who brings to The Education Collective 12 years of experience across middle school, high school and college environments, such as Syracuse University and Onondaga Community College. Brittany specializes in guiding students through the college planning and application process while understanding the intricacies of the NCAA Eligibility Center for our student-athletes. With degrees such as a BFA Communications, MS School Counseling, and CAS Counseling Services, Brittany provides compassionate and honest support, fostering trust and building connections to help students achieve their academic aspirations in high school and beyond.


Mrs. Mandy Marino

Co-Founder, Director of Academic Initiatives & Instructional Support

Mandy Marino brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to The Education Collective as a NYS Certified English teacher, with 15 years of experience spanning public, private, and charter school settings. Mandy specializes in the art of meeting each student precisely where they are, tailoring her approach to accommodate unique learning needs. Her expertise includes working effectively with students who have special education plans, such as 504s and IEPs, providing crucial supplemental content instruction and strong teacher and student advocacy. Mandy's positive and engaging style creates a supportive and empowering learning environment for all students.

Miss Jordan Vaught

Co-Founder, Director of Adolescent Support Services

Jordan Vaught brings to The Education Collective seven years of experience in education, specializing in working with students in grades 5-9. Holding both a BS and MS in Social Work, Jordan is deeply committed to fostering social and emotional skill development in young adolescents. Known for a positive and engaging approach, Jordan excels at connecting with students and creating a supportive learning environment.

Mr. Shawn Gashi

Learning & Enrichment Program Leader

Shawn comes to The Education Collective with a foundation in Business Administration and five years of experience in both education and coaching. Shawn excels at fostering meaningful connections with students. He is dedicated to building strong relationships through mentorship and serves as a positive and encouraging role model, guiding our students toward success.
